Thanks Grif, that works very well. Perhaps you can add it to the new forum user guide, if such a thing exists

This only works for the page you are on, and even then it will still search for the name if it is written in a post.

I often find myself in threads where all the posters are simply commenting on the OP and asking for more, etc. In amongst these ... I can only find by going through every page of the thread. I think a post filter feature should be employed so that people don't have to scroll through posts ...
