Molten lava flamethrower! It shoots liquid lava that hardens in time. The lava, as a liquid, is a bit like liquid fire and burns anything it touches. Since it is a liquid, it can also travel certain distances before hardening. As a solid, it is very hard and can only be destroyed by heavy diggers.

For the flame thrower, make it shoot a damaging stream, like the current Darkstorm pyro weapon, but also make it create burning patches that last for a little while. That will be best, as it will be very effective, which is only fair considering the tactical disadvantages of having high explosives on your back.

Not sure what to do with the lightning gun...

I don't think that the lightning gun needs to have an explosion on the end.
Picture of lightnings

none of those pictures have the end of the lightning strike, so we can assume from that that there are no big explosions at the end. I think it should shoot stuff like that one gun...

but I guess this one only shoots weird randomly in dirt, so that wouldn't work too great.

On second thought it should just shoot a small glowy ball thing with multiple frames (can you even do this with tdexplosives?) that looks like it's electricity with a trail or something

Guys, the reason Numgun is doing it the way he is so far is because in the original Ballistic Weapons, the lightning gun was like the lightning gun from The Matrix series, but could drag people around as well, and also attack multiple targets at once. It's very cool, but hard to do in CC.

Ooh, that was a cool gun.
I don't think it was exactly a 'lightning gun' though, I think it was a plasma stream.

Anyway, maybe it shouldn't even be a muzzle effect, I think it'd be cool if it shot a lot of high-speed low-lifetime glowy trail thing, that had emitters on the that made them jump around in a semi-random pattern.
