Post color issues...
It seems that making my own mod is getting a little more frustrating than I thought. My problem is that when I put this actor in the game, the surrounding area of him is white, where it should be invisible... Could somebody check this out and tell me what I'm doing wrong?

And before you tell me, I know this mod sucks, and it isn't close to being complete, but before I do any more tweaks, I need the actore to actually work in game.

1. Read a spriting tutorial.
2. Put the picture in palette.
3. Have some fun.
4. Take a break.

I thank you for that tutorial, but I didn't see anything about why my sprite's bg was showing up white. I put it as the pink that I took right from the palette, and it shows up white in the game...

Did I miss something?

Is. the. sprite. completely. in. palette.
Every single colour needs to have come from Base.rte/palette.bmp, it isn't necessarily your magenta.

Easy way:

Get paint.net if you have windows 7.
Make a copy of base.rte's pallet.
Post your sprite over the pallet with paint.net.

Then you're good to go.
