Hi everyone! I have some issue with my very first actor :/. It's a AHumain, but it doesn't have the shape of a humain, so I have some probleme with my head's offset. I dont even know what it realy mean, in fact x_x. If I set the sprit offset at 2;5, it look like this: ![]() The placement is good, but the axe of rotation is totaly messed up: ![]() But if i set the offset at the center of mass, the axe of rotation is right but not the placement. ![]() Can anyone help me please? ![]()

I think I can handle this myself, but if you think so... ![]() Edit: I'm trying to figure out by mysel how it works, does Spriteoffset and Jointoffset refer to the head, the body or the world? ReEdit: Wtf, Why 0 is not equal to -0 ? |

Are you also adjusting ParentOffset at all? Because that's important for rotating attachments, such as a head. SpriteOffset on the head is the center of the head. As you go down and right from the top left of the sprite, X and Y decrease. ParentOffset on the head (usually on the copy of it in the body definition) is the connection point of the head to the body, in relation to the body. As you go right and down, x and y increase. JointOffset on the head is the connection point of the head to the body, in relation to the head. As you go right and down, x and y increase. SpriteOffset on the body is the center of the body. As you go down and right from the top left of the sprite, X and Y decrease. Respectively, -9, -8 5, -4 -2, 7 -7, -6 should be about right for you. 'course this only fixes the neck. With legs that stubby, you're gonna have some trouble making them look right and work. |
