| Post subject: | Making a Dropship land? |
Okay so for long now I've tried to make so that you can land a dropship just like a rocket. I found the "Landable" code. Switched to 1 and I didn't see that something changed :/. So my question is: Are there a way to make dropships "Land"? Like the engines are off when landed, like on a rocket? |

I have no modding experience but it's probably not that hard to figure out how to disable the thrusters, and having the dropship not take much damage from falling to ground. If you could make some strong body parts to hold the ship it would probabl work, or just having the dropship not be too round. Maybe set some hotkey to turn the engines on and off. Would probably make a mess of the AI if you changed the downwards-movement rocket power |

Then I'm having a hard time simply thinking out a solution. Though I would like to be able to turn off the engines Before asking here, tried to add attachments that it could land on, clipped through terrain. |

by any chance, you mean this? viewtopic.php?f=61&t=20028 there is a lua that can actually land and turning off and on the engines (or turbines) |
