Ok, so I am wokring on an update to the Fusion reactor, and I need to know a few things.

How do I get the emissions to go straight up, not at a tilt?

How do I enlarge the foot (pad landing thingy) of the Fusion Reactor? I want it to stretch across all of the bottom, not just the center of the bottom.

And how can I make it blow up when it reaches 0 life instead of just 100 gwl? No matter what life it started from, it should explode at 0. How do I do that?

Ya, that would work great... except for the fact that a 1000+ mass powerplant landing at high velocities is going to do some damage. And it heals itself. If it was that simple i could have done it myself.

Isn't there a way to set it to die when health does?

Argh... now I have another problem with another mod. It's a dropship, I can buy it, and it shows up, but the problem is, after the 3 seconds, it appears then goes back up instantly.

Could someone please pm me and fix it? i'ts sort of revolutionary so I don't want to release it in public yet.

And yes, I have tried offsets.

Well, you can set emission damage to 0 and burst damage to 1, then set the EmmisionCound thing to 1, set ImpuleDamageTerewhatever to 10k (Depends on weight, 10k is for stuff over 1k kg), then set impulse limit to something high, whatever you wish it to be and set GibWoundLimit to 100 (Like THOr said)

That will make the reactor lose 1HP every time its shot, it will not lose more HP, everyime it is shot it will lose 1 point
When its shot for the 100th time HP will reach 0 and it will explode

In theory, it will work

Have you tried the poisition variable located under the instane name?
It determinates the position of the craft when it spawns

Ha, that didn't even exist before I added it in as an attempt to make it work. If I set Y axis on that to positive, will that make it lower or higher?

And btw, none of those methods work for what i had in mind. because it constantly gains health. So that would'nt be acurrate.

If you do it correctrly, it will not gain health, health will stay same

And the higher the number is (Positive) the lower it will be positioned (Closer to the ground)

The health was suppossed to be a feature, I know how to turn it off. Is there no way to trigger an explosion on death?

Crazy theory but maybe you could set it to become an explosive material with a small patch of material that would cause it to explode. Not sure if thats possible or not but if it is it could work. Untested since i have done 0 work with mats so far.

Ok, I just scraped what wasn't working.

I need an answer to a quick question. If you Have a gib explosion and it shoots mopixels in a 360 spread, and you have another explosion the same with just a smaller radius, will it look more shredded inside? Because it doesn't seem to wrk that way, it's like they take the same path as the carved out dirt...

And I need ways to reduce lag on an explosion. Not turn down particle amount, i know that and need lots, but I mean is traillength a factor, is the faster they go better or worse? Stuff like that.
So best ways to reduce lag on explosions. answer quickly please.

Slower, less trail, anything that reduces the work for the computer, lag isn't really a dfifficult concept in CC.

Put more particles on the inner explosion?
