Post Sprite help
Hmm, the "ultimate tutorial" explained the coding aspect of CC, but I cant find anything on making sprites.

From what I've gathered, most people use MS paint. Now, when I start making sprites with paint, do I build each piece individually and save them all in a folder or something? Or Do I make all the pieces all at once in one file?

please can you check base.rte first.

no offence in this but maybe you should consider reading computing for dummies or some online tuts or lessons or something, you can only get better

*insert slap in face.gif here*
okay firstly I'd like to take the honour to call you a noob.
secondly, I meant the way things are set out.
the AMOUNT OF SPRITES which is what you wanted to know.
the names of sprites

specifically check devices-automatics

also DO NOT TRY TO MAKE SOMETHING FROM SCRATCH download IWCY's gun template and use that as a base of your mod then edit them for a while then make from scratch

*facepalm.gif*

Anyways, there's nothing in CC that's a single, connected sprite; all frames of animations of any kind are seperate for Data's unfathomable reasons.

Well, its kinda logical. Imean, if you're using object oriented code, you couldnt just stick all the parts in the same file and expect them to work. Then I suppose whatever you animated for say, a leg, would affect the entire body as a leg.

Or I'm completely wrong. I wouldnt bet a dollar against my knowledge of programming.

Well, yes, but earlier builds of CC used batch files and some aspect of the .exe hardcoding split all the files into their relevant frames.

That sounds simpler, but much more hardware-intensive.
