Space station... Good idea. I'll get back on that.
For now, my and Duh102's Toybox mod is almost ready. I am excited and hope you'll all be too. (Will post it in the mods section ofcourse, but it needs some tinkering still.)

Damn, a spacestation...
Yup, you did it. All kinds of stuff going on inside my head o' chaos.
If making sprites wasn't so enormously time consuming I'd start creating bunker pieces that look like metal. :)

Take a small break from making the scenes and make those bunker modules!!!

Then when you had a break in between that you go to re-editing the scenes with you new bunker modules XD

Either way glad you "remembered" "my" idea of a space station (Positive others had the same idea as well)

I've dropped the brick ship map thing. Added two more ships in it but dropships get entangled in them and it's really an endless shower of ship crap. :???: (No fun jetpacking around in such a heavy rain, unless you're feeling like playing "Galaxian".)

I've quickly made one simple map that I enjoy a lot. It's basically a small hill with a bunker on it, 6000x3000 again and no doors and actors. E.g. at the start you need to place actors and brains yourself. Then see how long you can hold out in there. :)
Nice thing is that these rare occurances don't occur, so the map is safe.

Download it here: King of the Hill.
Zip has an earth and a moon version.

I am taking a break. If I want to make more maps I think they really need something extra. Cement bunkers and standard backgrounds do not cut it anymore. :)
*Hopes for Build 21*

Added two new maps; see the first post.

One is a long bridge, not too many stuff on this map.
The other (Outpost 14) is a map that I was making for someone else, but he wasn't happy about it. I think it has become one of my better ones though.

Both do not contain actors. I am thinking about removing actors from all my maps, since bugs seem to disappear when I do.
The Bridge map is also a bit sucky for AI battles. They do not seem to mind diving in the gap under the bridge. :)

All links work for me. Perhaps my provider had a minor drop-out, which I cannot imagine. Can you try again?

Post Re: Area/Moon levels (v2.2)
@Aspect: Done. They're attached to the first post. :)

Update v2.2:
I've grouped all earth maps and moon maps in one folder, so they won't make a mess in people's CC folder. They include all I've made up 'til now.
I would throw the earth/moon maps together in one folder but the materials would conflict.

If you want to remove a map, keep in mind that you need to remove it from the index.ini and the scenes.ini files to avoid errors. :)

These scenes really are too big, They're extremely laggy.

The size of the scenes is a part of what makes them fun...

For the moon maps, you should add other planets, stars, and constellations.

Wow... these levels are huge.
I look at them and I see a normal sized bunker and I say to myself, "that's pretty cool."
Then I see a small passageway leading off the screen. I follow it and it turns into a massive tower that fills 5 screens.

I wish I could use these maps though cause they're real cool - I like the bridge one and all the small bunkers and the elevated sniper posts or w/e that remind me of the covenant towers in Halo 2/3.

So I probably won't use them much, besides maybe bridge which is more reasonably sized.
Oh and by the way, your com tower has absolutely no foundation, it looks like it will topple over at any moment.

Still sorry to hear that some people think they're way too big, but that's the way I enjoy them. :)
The standard maps are way too small, and shooting off the screen on some of them would sometimes lead to shooting yourself in the back.

@Tea+Aspect: Some of these maps are a bit smaller to try to make something for everyone (Missile Silo, Lunar Base), but if they're still too large, then I can't help it.
I really don't like making tiny maps.

What you also could do is just modify these maps for your own use, like making the .bmp file half the size it is now, deleting the scenes\<mapname>.ini file and then create your own scene from within the game. :) I am totally fine with it if people do.

@Aspect: Don't worry about the Comm tower. I bet the base of that thing is heavy enough to keep it in its place.

@Roy-G-Biv; About the extra planets in the background; I will change it eventually, just like the standard background in the 'earth' maps. Just need to find some nice material to use, since I am a lousy painter myself. :)

Edit: Added new map to the FiPo.
