my name is meloen, and i already got a time portal gate in my map. well... thats the concept i started with, make a "time chamber" thats stuck in time with one gateway out. and now im making a desert-timechamber, with remains of a civillisation who tried to live there.

Wait... are you actually putting gears in the level? If so, you could just have a binker module with an attachment that is animated.

Gears... :P (gags thinking about all the stuff we could do witht those) Do you think you could make those gears into actual Foreground stuff that can crush units that fall into them? They would make for nasty traps :P

their actualy the effect of the burning of a rocket, emitted in periods, stuck in the ground. so no.. sorry, they cant be solid :( (maybe in lua)

I have absolutely no idea how you figured that out, but just that is awesome. There won't be need for gears, then.

Unless we can do them in Lua, that is :wink:

Can't you make a door that rotates forever (or close to forever,
and when it stops spinning it gibs because of the emitter attached to
it made it finally reach its Gibwoundlimit) as the gears?

And if not, can't you just add an emitter directly to the map for the fake gear effect?
