On topic: Will you be randomizing the gender of the soldiers bought?

Why would I want to randomize gender?

I actually plan on making it so you are able to choose a few dudes/chicks at the beginning (depending on map size) and you simply respawn those actors throughout the match.

Yes.

Also, slight necro, but I'm making small progress on this one between my other major mods.
I've finished most of the sprites for one of the Male Soldier variants.

Here are a couple, one base color (teamless) and another Red soldier wielding the ASMD Shock Rifle (wearing a red beret I borrowed from Gotcha's mod):

I uploaded a working link per a direct request. Seems the one at mediafire expired.

Keep in mind this hasn't been touched since build 23 or 24, so it may have issues working with the more current builds.

I added landing zones (teams 1-4; they cover the entire map), and made the RGB background fit in the CC palette. After changing these two things, it still hangs on start for some reason. Maybe one of you guys can figure out what's wrong. :???:

It works don't worry. But the only downside is the lack of firing ports for defenders, you don't get a lot.
