Go into your Cortex Command directory, find SmashandGrab.rte, and see if there's another .rte inside it. Depending on how you extract stuff, there is sometimes a false .rte. Just take the .rte inside, and cut/paste into the main CC directory.

I like it but 10 passes is a bit much, I thought I was putting it in there wrong or something, also because of the blue screen it gives.

MY CC DID'NT READ SmashandGrab.rte...............................
I played cc, when I saw the loading page, I was not find SmashandGrab.rte files read at the loading page.

Ugh ok good mission but the fact even if you kill a soldier that isn't being eyed by there ally you get detected,And Digging just takes to long,Custom weapons would of been better,Such as Silenced rifle,Silenced machine gun,It's a stealth mission to quickly get the artifact,Which would require stealth base units also,And ronin team aka Dafred dimitri and all isn't a good stealth "Unit",Anyway good mission otherwise had to pull up some REAL units to actually get done through half,The fact that they bring in reinforcements no matter what is pointless :roll: .

I made a small dirt base before going out, with two guards, two snipers, a medic bot and a weapons scavenger.

By the end my resources was hovering around 100, 30 deaths and 200 kills :)

Actually, the part about the enemy units being killed setting off alarms is spot on with CC's tech, think about it, they're all wired too a single Brain, and you as the player get notified the second you loose a body.. why shouldn't the enemy?

I don't know if this is a common problem, or a rare one, but I haven't been able to open CC with your mod, even after I deleted it. It says(exactly):


'Abortion in file .\Managers\PresetMan.cpp, line 162, because:

Failed to find the SmashandGrab.rte Data Module!

The last frame has been dumped to 'abortscreen.bmp''


I even uninstalled/reinstalled the game 2 times, tried deleting the mod, finding the .\Managers\ file... I have NO clue what to do, but I love the game to death. If someone could help it would be amazing :-(
