I haven't had a problem with it? I think it might just be a problem that you have with the game, try asking for help on the general board, maybe someone has had the same bug. I'm pretty sure its not this scene, as I said its working fine on mine and I've also tested it my laptop and its fine. Anyone else getting this problem? o.O

Make sure you have an Index.ini DIRECTLY INSIDE SmashandGrab.rte. If it is in "Cortex Command/SmashandGrab.rte/SmashandGrab.rte/Index.ini", then copy the folder out so that it is.

My problem is that it does the error even without the SmashandGrab.rte in the directory. I have an Index.ini in SmashandGrab.rte, and there is yet another error :???: :

'Abortion in file .\System\Reader.cpp, line 534, because:

Referring to an instance ('SmashandGrab.rte/Dafred Brain SmashandGrab') to copy from that hasn't been defined! in SmashandGrab.rte/Scenes/SmashandGrab.ini at line 12!

The last frame has been dumped to 'abortscreen.bmp''

I am clueless...Again this is with a fresh version B25 CC without ANY mods.

Doesn't work on a fresh B25 install.

Updated! :D

I believe it was just because weapon names/folder locations had changed slightly in the new build.

I forgot to upload my fix so thank Weegee for his fix. :P

I downloaded the latest fixed version. It doesn't work in build 26 when you try to start the mission, the lua console pops up becuase the mission is trying to load a bunch of nonexistant weapons.

I had the same problem so here is my fix all you have to do is change the lua for the weapons So I changed bazooka into an RPG.

I think this might need a tune up after the latest release, I noticed a lot of core faction files have gone walkies and are in new folders again. :P

I'll get onto this when I have some free time. :)

Updated! I recently was searching through my dropbox and found my old mods. I blew off the dust from my copy of Cortex Command and instantly fell in love with it again. I decided to make my mods compatible with the newest version so i'm adding them to the Steam Workshop over the next few days.

Here's an old classic, Smash and Grab. For the life of me I can't even beat it nowadays (got SO close though) so I wish you all the best of luck. :)

Enjoy!

PS: It's nice to see familiar faces around here still and that some of you that helped me create and improve this mod are even on staff now. :)
