Well it does say 'Pre-Alpha', so you shouldn't have expected much...

Very much hassle with this thing, and lua doesn't always seem to comply.
It's nothing much more than a board game atm, and I don't think it will ever be...

But I must say, it was quite fun doing all the sprite work, even though I just wanted to ragequit at some point (307 sprites wolololol, and there should be atleast 100 more)

Anyhow, I tried an attack mission. I killed everyone, and nothing happened. I brought my brain to the brain room, nothing. I waited for 10 minutes to kill all of the reinforcements, nothing. I hitched a ride into space, and I lost. Not sure how to win.

It's kinda glitchy like that, sometimes you can win a defence mission but it won't continue.

There is custom music actually, but it weights around 20mb or so, so we kept it out until we were going to finish the whole thing... Which we didn't...

My bad, Attack03 was slightly broken for debugging. Fixed that. Be kind people, this thing was abandoned for months :)

It would be funny if we finish it and then a day later B24 comes out with full working metagame.

But yeah, we need people who can provide actual help with all the lua nonsense.
Maybe an extra spriter too.

This is totally awesome, i hope that you'll finish it, i really would like to help you but i not a good modder.
Good luck.

P.S. I've encountered few bugs so far.
1) Sometimes i fail a mission even before any units has spawned.
2) when that happens i can't start a new campaign because it keeps reloading the same bugged mission.
3) On a Mac it's gives me "unexpected value" error on lines LifeTime = -1 in some dummy weapon .ini, i've changed value to 999999, everything seems to be working.

My suggestion? Shrink the outlines by a pixel or two so it shows both (eg. yellow/red) borders on contested frontlines.

I think it's funnier that you've finished this one and data's still working on his, and from what I've seen, that's the only major change for B24.

Hmm, I liked it until I tried to kill something, after I shot something the second after the thing I shot died and then the level up thing appears everybody on my team gibs. Is anybody have the same problem? Otherwise this is very cool.
