I'll play some of this today, beside studying. Death needs to be more important though, a teleport back to spawn would be nice, or is everyone gibbing playerside and they're respawning cause I didn't actually hit them?

They respawn if you didn't really hit them.
I had a guy chain-respawning off his own gibs.

You teleport back to your own tower if killed.

I'm getting the same problem as you, Geti.

I assume it's purely due to server location, which is why we need a release of the server.
Although, I can see why you'd want to hold it back until bugs and whatnot have been fixed as much as possible.

But yeah, chat feature would be really useful.
Obviously gameplay leaves a lot to be desired, but as a proof-of-concept, this is great.

Well, their respawning because you didn't hit them on their end.

The Shooting synchronization needs to be fixed, and I think I may have a fix for the crash.

Just flat out remove lines 184 through 190 in the Online 2.lua. Don't worry, it won't break your game, or make it unplayable. It's supposed to sync scores to your frag-counter, but it isn't working all that well.

I'll post an updated version soon.

EDIT: Wow, sometimes people join, and they register themselves under two player slots... I don't even see how that's possible.

Also, this gun syncing thing is going to be harder than I expected.

I literally just played a game with two others. Who are you? This needs a team mode. Like with this map you could team up to defend your tower.

I'd assume legs and arms are all clientside, so saying that you were the 'one armed/legged' guy isn't really worth the effort of typing.

I agree, usernames would be badass, but it would take a while
to get my Java applet to support letters rather than numbers.

So the server is going down for a bit for some testing.

After it comes back up, you'll need the new version to play on it.
