how exactly do you set up the online 2.lua? is the first ip the serve ip and the second one stays the same?

If it has a -- in front of the line it means it's commented out.

So only the second one matters. That's the server IP.

I cd to application.linux and run ./Cortex_Command_Server

but uh will you help me play online cortex command or set up a server or tell me how to connect to you so we can play against each other?

Okay well, you open the Online 2.lua, go down to the first ip and type down your external ip which can be found out with [url]whatisyourip.org[/url].
Then open your router settings [your ip in the address bar] and port forward the port 8998.
Then you run the server software and you should be able to join your server, if you can, post your ip here and people should be able to join.

it asks me to assign players to at least 2 teams,but there is only 1 open! what do i do :-(

This mod does not currently support B24.

Updated to B24, but not much else. I'm going to leave a server up all night.

Oh, and you can have a name in self.SName var in the Online 2.lua

I did join the server , an this is , what is in my console:
ERROR: Couldnt find the requested scene area , named LZ Team 1
ERROR: Couldnt find the requested scene area , named : landing zone

Please, upload the server! :) Because old version don't work! (I and my friend connect to my old server and we are don't see each other! Error in console "Online 2.lua 263 Cannot .... nil")
