For our new friend Dimitri, may he grow to become as prosperous as his father.

Roast Veg presents:
----------------------------------------
The Times of Hardship Campaign
----------------------------------------

A weegee tribute.

What is the ToS Campaign?
Using weegee's very own framework, I have compiled every single one of his missions (as well as Maginot Mission) into one single mod, which means you can play through them in what I percieve as being the logical order.

Features:
  • 8 inter-connected missions by weegee and TLB
  • One mission select screen, with unlockable levels
  • Difficulty inheritance across missions
  • Gimped-up difficulties for previously unscaled missions
  • ...and plenty to discover!

Creditos:
  • weegee, for making seven eighths of the missions
  • TheLastBanana, for making one of the missions
  • weegee, for making the campaign framework
  • weegee, for when things went wrong a couple of times
  • Roast Veg, for arranging and producing the mod
  • Natti, for testing it ages ago
  • Dimitri (weegee 2.0), for inspiring me to finish this
  • DRL, just because

Yeah I knew about this big project, but I'm still amazed with it :) Tedious work putting all of this together.

The 2nd mission didn't unlock for me after finishing the first one.
The picture of the 4th mission doesn't active while mission unlocked.
The 5th mission's broken.

Victory at last!

But right as I finished the first level, the game crashed.

Take a look at how much ammo I used.

Hmm... I think I know why that is. I'll fix it next release.

I know about that, but I'm not sure why it should be so. I'll look into it.

I'm on the case with that too, that'll be fixed immediately.

Was it a one off, or is it consistent?

EDIT: Ok, fixed everything that's crossed out. New version in a minute.

The fog of war in the last mission is amazing. Great pack.
Now I can delete most of the single mission except Tartarus in my folder of collections.

Thanks. I wanted it to appear like the foreground wall of the bunker.

Dude.
This one is a very, very, very good tribute to weegee.
Damn you should feel pretty proud.

As soon as I started the Mining Post level it says FAIL and then none of the Coalition or Dummies attack me. Maybe the script is broken? :-(

Edit: I got it working 2 hours ago, just had to play the level and boy it was long! You have Dimitri spelled Dimitry and also there is no Dimitri Sniper, it is simply Dimitri.

I knew weegee spelt Dimitri with a "y" in nest, but I obviously missed the others. That'll be fixed for next time.

As for the broken mining post script, what did you do to get it working? It might help me diagnose what is actually going on.

Hi, I'm using a mac, and i can't get the mission to load. Cortex Command starts up fine and everything, but when i try to start the TOH main menu mission, the console opens up, with the errors. I haven't tried editing the files mentioned in the errors because i really have no idea where to begin. Just wondering if someone understood what is wrong. oh and i blacked out the other errors, so it was clear which were The TOH errors. anyhow thanks. :P

Here are the fixes I applied to the Mining Post level Lua.

Line 127 should look like this.
Code:
   self.Dimitri = nil;

Line 211 should look like this.
Code:
   self.Dimitri = CreateAHuman("Dimitri" , "TimesOfHardship.rte");

:???: Well the top one is causing all the ones lower down. For some reason CC isn't finding the framework script, make sure you can find it yourself.

Yep, weegee pointed those out to me already. I'll get on them asap.
