Enough of those laggy, unstable, heavily restricted environments like Unmapped Lands and Cortex Shock, which try to control player's every breath! Time to go back to pure Cortex Command gameplay!

This activity looks like a classic CC skirmish, but wait just a while, and it'll start giving you different misison objectives to complete. All objectives are totally random, based on current battlefield situation and even can be ignored. You are given your brain, your funds and absolute freedom. What's better, you can play this activity on any compatible map, not just those included in this proof of concept mod. To make any scene compatible with Warfare just add required areas in area editor and you can enjoy more complex gore everywhere on the planet

Download B30 compatible version.

This looks great, and will definitely make simple skirmishes alot more fun, I will edit if I find any bugs.

I'm speechless. I just had a half an hour match in this gamemode, defending Maginot.
It's hard, but it's also really, really fun.
This gamemode may have sprung my interest in CC to new heights.

weegee, i Don't know what this community would do without you. Everything you make is a beacon of prosperity to Cortex command. The day you leave this forum is the day the world dies from devastating Apocalyptic circumstances.

!!!KEEP THIS COMING HERO!!!

The first few minutes are the most hectic. Finding a defendable location, building up defences, ordering troops, etc.

After failing a memory chip mission on Maginot, it stopped giving out missions all together. By failing one task, did I fail the entire mission?

No the only way to fail something here is to lose your last brain. Either it could not find conditions to launch new objective, or it glitched.

UPD:

Updated with some balance tweaks and fixes. Stratosphere and Swarm maps now support Warfare.

This is awesome :D too bad my computer can't handle bigger maps :-(

I was expecting immediate evacuation after the tasks. After all, it is a weegee mission.

Nice! No options to define the brain-unit on a per-faction basis, though? :(

Arcalane, fixed it. Check out Ultramarines.lua in fresh file.

Nice. Will cook up some recomp-compatible files for you in a bit. :)

Finally managed to get a good game of this going, you've certainly improved upon everything I mentioned and all of the objectives are great. Also the fact that it's not limited to dummy assault probably helps a lot too. All in all great job with this, it adds a nice feel to skirmish and it's nicely polished now.
My only complaint is that money might be a bit too easy to come by, you don't really need to spend too much to adequately defend or defend, just three gattling turrets will do the job for ages. In the end I was left with 50k or so that I had no need for.

As promised, recomp-compatible faction files.

Usual rules apply - make sure you have the relevant faction(s) enabled in the 40K recomp, do not use it with the original compilation, etc. etc.
