Post Mod Database
Cortex Command Mod Database
www.cortexmods.com

The source for the mod database is public. If you want to add something, feel free to do so. The site is written with a custom PHP CMS.
SVN Repository: http://svn.thereviewpalace.com/cortexMods/trunk/
Read-only access with anon/anon
Write access with CortexModder/DataRealms

If you have design ideas or anything else, please share them!

I think that if everyone here pitches in in a small way, we can have the mod database that we want.

Constructive criticism is encouraged. Tell me it sucks and will never work. I'll make it better. Any questions, like how to get a local copy running, just ask or pm me, and I'll be glad to answer.

Oh snap, Daman is gonna be pi-hissed!

That said, I do rather like the open-source aspect to this, so good luck.
It will be interesting to see how widespread usage becomes.

I just made a account successfully.

Go to "Control Panel" and click "Add New Mod".

Oh, I thought I was logged in already, but I wasn't. That explains why I didn't see it.

Edit: I uploaded my gravity guns.

Also, maybe you can have 10 of the most-downloaded mods displayed on the home page.

Well, That'd be a priority. Whitty's image is a page wide, and it kinda rapes everything else for eye-catchingness. I'd post there if I had anything good.

Please clear the area, content dump in progress.

EDIT: What would be nifty (but I don't know how to code) would be some version control support. Very basic, like when you upload you're asked if you want to add a new mod or a new version to an old mod. In browsing mode, the mod is still one entry but with an expandable sidebar of older versions (the displayed version is the most recent upload). In the submission page there could be an optional field for version numbers, which do nothing but look nice in the version sidebar.
As I said, nifty idea, but I have no idea how to do it.

EDIT2: Seems it has some trouble with non-alphanumeric characters.

After looking at the mod list, the #1 problem seems to be overly large images.

Also, I wouldn't mind making some small little CC-style images to spruce up the site.

It's only Lafe's laser mod image that is too large.

Still, it screwed up the whole list.

It needs a limit...
