If I can, I'd like to be a judge too. Except that I will only judge mods fully and not limit to a category since I think its stupid.
The last judges were so horrible that I really want to help it go better this time.

Yeah, making and testing your own mod is about as enjoyable as initially playing with someone else's new good mod, but it lasts as long as you'd like.
Without modding in general CC would be boring and the forums would be mostly inactive, but the contest isn't needed to keep modding going. It helps, though.

Anyways, I dislike the idea of specific judges, and I have an idea for an alternate voting system to avoid the broken polling feature but get the same result.
1) CC48 gets an administration-approved alternate forum user account
2) People email the alt account with their vote clearly marked in the title of the PM, under a specific format.
3) When the time for voting calculation comes up, CC48 deletes any duplicate votes from one person, (leaving the most recent) or any unclearly titled votes, and then counts the votes for each entry
4) After the votes are tallied, CC48 clears the alt account's PM inbox for the next contest
So basically this would function in the same way as forum polling, but the results would be more suspenseful, since only CC48 would see them until the end of voting.

Judging seems to have already started, so not doing it this time would be perfectly reasonable, but consider it for next contest?

That's act5ually a good idea. And now with more mods, it's more likely to happen.

Hyper and numgun, you're in.

Nonsequitorian, do you want both positions, or one? I'll need a definite answer.

I agree with this. The only reason why there are categories is because I didn't want there to be over-looked areas of a mod, like the mechanics and inner-workings of it when judged.

Agreed also. Judges are kinda like the fall-back plan, when all else fails. An alt account for the contest would be helpful; we'll have to see what the admins and mods think about it.

Alright, I'll grab all the fresh versions of the mods and send the reviews to you, CC48.

I would be happy to judge mod mechanics and gameplay for the next contest(I've entered in this one).

Computer problems strike again!

I'm not going to be able to wrap up this contest, anyone want to volunteer to run it this time around?

You mean you want someone to collect the reviews and post them?
Edit: If so I would accept do do it, I know I entered in this contest, but if I tried to modify the reviews the judges would see it immediatly and tell everyone, so even if I wanted to do so I couldn't(and I don't want to)

@CC48:

What do you mean? All the stuff you need is on the forums anyway. Just copy paste the reviews to a big post in quote boxes and then count the rating numbers together and post results. You seem to be able to post on the forums, so I don't see why you can't do it.

This contest deserves some kind of closure atleast. If the others haven't submitted their reviews then just use mine I sent you, its very comprehensive and accurate.

I am now using a school computer. Tomorrow is Saturday, so I can't get anything done contest-related.

I'll try to check the forums via a Nintendo Wii over the weekend (and get those compy problems fixed ASAP, for obvious reasons), though I don't think I'm going to be able to actually run the contest.

Sorry Mehman, but I want the identities of who wrote which review unknown, specificly towards contestants.

P.S. Using a Wii to type takes forever.

As you wish, however with only 3 judges it won't be hard to find out:

The review about all positions will be by Numgun, the one about Graphics/Gameplay will be by Hyperkultra and the one about Gameplay will be by Nonsequitorian.

The only gameplay review in the last one had to be me. :P
