Is there any chance of making a mac version? I've been looking at D.I.R.T., and it looks frick'n awesome. I really want to play it, but I have a mac. Which means I can't. Poop. ~Duk |

Yup, but I imagine that once he finishes the game DIRTmaster will give thought to the project. Its what he does

Hehe actually, funny you should ask... we're about to start porting the codebase to use Allegro only. So yes, both mac and lunix versions are in your futures.

Thanks for the concern, but I'm still very much alive and so is the project. Yes, we're working hard to port this baby to allegro right now, and it's going slow because of other distractions. It is definitely going forward though, and you will never have to worry about this proejct being abandoned. It's been going on for 5+ years now, and it's still alive today, so.. I understand you guys are anxious to try out new stuff, but this phase right now oesn't lend itself to releasing new builds every week. It's a big leap where nothing works in between, so just have patience please. |

Damn, this game does rock though. I want to learn how to make such quality (24bit?) graphics. Any good tutorials out there? |
