Post Question about Test mode.
I'm was just wondering about something, and this seems like the best place to ask. I want to play on the test mode, where you get basically unlimited gold and can spawn anything, but the problem is, there are no enemies for me to test the weapons on. It mentions this in the mode, saying there will be no enemies. Being a testmode, I would have expected I have some sort of ability to spawn stationary, non violent enemies to actually test the weapons on, instead of throwing grenades at the ground over and over. So I was wondering if anyone here had a way of doing that. From what I can gather, there is no friendly fire mode either, but what do I know, I really don't know that much.

Also, while I'm here, does anyone remember Milo4242 from youtube? He made a bunch of lets yell videos, one of them being "Lets yell at filler: Cortex command: Zombie Cave mission", where he would say things like "Rockets are for babies, real men drop from the skies in boxes!" and "Egads! That zombie has a grenade!"

I loved that guy.

You're a cool guy Vlads. But all this downloading extra map business and changing files sounds quite a bit iffy to me. Is there danger I might destroy everything in my game doing this?

Edit: I went back for a few tests with this thing. It's not half bad actually, as long as I tell it to only spawn 1 thing every 15 seconds, but even then, is there any way to do this all under my own control? Heck, would it even be possible for me to play the campaign mode with 2 player, myself being both of them, and try things on that?

In any case, thanks for the help you have provided so far, it's appreciated, make no mistake.

I personally use Firing Range by Luringen mostly because the switches that allow you to start/stop the spawning of units.. so you don't overload the scene with units when you don't want to. It's also quite easy to modify so other units from other factions spawn in.

Although I do load weegee's too because it has numerous other functionalities that are useful.

Well.. I just use a folder within CC that's labelled "_MODS - TEMP REMOVAL"
So when I don't feel like using a mod, I can move it to this folder, which cuts the loading time down.

But then there's always this:
Mod Manager

Sorry if I came off as snide but I'm legitimately trying to help.

I talk generally because the forums are a shared thing, and so other people may have the same complaint and so by giving a solution to a problem I hope to help anyone with the same problem. You may not be noob but some people do need direct links and information.
