Anyway, made some progress the launcher looks like a bfg for some reason?
haven't even made the rockets yet, probably better if i do that first then redo the launcher.

Hello all, I am RedSye, and come to you guys to ask you one thing; What type of tactics do you use? For attacking and defending? For attack, I usually send in a heavy unit or two, then I send a ton of light guys armed with SMG's. Takes them out. For defending, I get a couple guys with heavy snipers covering the area, and send Heavy to take out the brain. So what are your tactics? I would love to know, everything from crashing everything you have filled with bombs, or do you do it like I do? |

Tactics that are preferred by me in Cortex command are the following.. burrowing my brain deep into the earth and usually trying to create a tunnel that makes the AI just stackup and get stuck allowing then as gold supply begins to addup i'll begin swarming with light forces in rocklets that consist of blasters and the nailgun at this point i'll also begin bring down miners to begin mining more gold as the light forces begin to wage their eternal crusade against "THE ENEMY" at this point i useally begin controling them to sharpshoot troops and push them back if possible and around this point i'll begin deploying heavier forces along with AADrones because they are so damn useful.. kinda wish there was a dummy variant? might explore later. edit explored.. Doesn't seem so hard. Just resprite a dreadnought, slap on the AA script from the AA Drone (with minor changes to the missiles). |

For attack, I generally try infiltrating a unit deep inside the enemy base, typically dropping it over the base with a dropcrate and then trying to sneak a way in. If he dies, I call another one and repeat the same process following the same path the last guy was doing. I don't really care much about defense, generally just drop some dudes around with heavy machineguns, preferably the M60 over the other ones because of the no spin up. Leave the brain in gold dig also makes it harder to reach and stuff, and I only look back when the screen flashes red or when my infiltrator guy dies. |

I not good at spriteing though. that would be swell, i'll work on the sprites right now i've already got A complete just working on B & C then i'll have to do the rocket as for gibs.. eh. |
