Whatever.
Mods ALWAYS, from the beginning CC was capable of loading them, had directories with / and not \.
Base.rte is the same.

I don't think I ever saw a mod with \, maybe I just din't notice though.

some do, like when people use the properties window in windows to get paths because they're too lazy to type it out, and then leave it there cause it loads on windows. that causes an error on mac.

I keep getting an error whem I try to download this, it's saying it can't find the directory. Before I click anything there.

I assumed that the error was simply a "\" thing, as that made sense.
However, my Multi-document find and replace returns 0 instances of "\" actually, and all the errors are about the Slayer's sound files.
I've been working on it for a while now, but am not sure what the issue is with the WAVs.
Here's a dump of all the errors it throws before exiting.

Could be, but I doubt it.
They all play in the Finder, in Quicktime, and in VLC.
Does CC have the audio codecs for Wav and Ogg built in?

Edit-
I made one of my own weapons use all the slayer noises, just to see if that worked, and it did not. gave the same errors. All that I changed was the path that the normal sounds used to aim at the slayer's.
It would appear it is just them.

Thusly, I changed the paths in sounds to refer to the empty noise in base.
Base.rte/Sounds/EmptyClick3.wav

It works.
But the slayer is slightly more boring. It's fine though, it works.
I'm off to play that now. Other mac users can just use my fix, or their own. It's easy.

Quick question. I'm one of the newer generation, and I haven't experienced the old AAL. Why do all the knowledgeable people here seem to prefer the older versions?

Because numguns older versions were simple, good looking, and got the job done. These new ones personally I don't like them as much as the old ones it's just too much glam and not enough BAM! Plus the nova star was over hyped. Im still a sucker for anything numgun makes dont get me wrong now.
