Post Dummy Impulse Weapon Pack
I present to a pack of dummy impulse weapons, created on a whim; we're goin' through a bit of a dry spell so you should be happy for this.
Image (Sorry about the quality, I accidentally saved it as a .jpg)

The Impulse Rifle: short mag and even shorter range, The Impulse Shotgun: A super-short range scattergun and The Heavy Rifle: not quite the range of a sniper but a decent mag size and an average rate of fire.

Criticism is appreciated.

Interesting weapon pack, a lot of people wanted to see impulse weaponry for dummies.

I liked it a lot, but still the guns look overpowered, but they aren't at all. I mean, firing at dudes and see them flying around looks overpowered.

EDIT:

Oh, and nicolasx:

If you haven't downloaded the mod in question, you cannot post about it. That means absolutely zero "downloading now, will post feedback later" posts. They're stupid, pointless, and contribute absolutely nothing.

Download the mod, test it, and THEN make a post that offers constructive criticism for the mod in question.

It's a neat little bunch of weapons.

I'd suggest improving the aesthetics of the projectiles, (perhaps add a glowy trail?) and maybe making them capable of penetrating grass and other light cover.

I'll play around with effects, currently the glow is just vanilla orange because I'm a lazy clod

I'll play around with that too. (could somebody make me a lua script so the sharpness only effects terrain?)

I believe that's part of the fun personally.

Sorry about "First" post(kinda new here) tested its very fun to use these, although they are a bit underpowered as in when they just bounce off of a ronin head but still very fun

There are plenty of scripts out there that do the exact opposite, have a search and fiddle with some values.

Thanks for the tip, shouldn't be too hard, I have an easy enough time reading and editing lua. I'm just not good at scripting it.
