would it be possible for you to make a rail effect before it strikes?
(like red alert) it would look realy cool.

Any video showing that in action? I never played red alert...

Edit : Sorry guys but.. I LIED! This is not the last update, only the first of a few others. I will MAYBE make some kind of movable laser platform (like that ypsilon laser, but that recharges and can be moved instead of just sitting there and disappearing) but I really don't think I can do this alone.

wrong name it was command and conquer...
the new cannon effect is this youtube
and the old one...
i cant find a good picture/video of it.
but imagine the effect than coming of god mod has with the rain (without the lightings) before the ion cannon strikes.

Oh yeah i remember the old one a little but it sounds awesomely hard to make... I could make the new effect pretty easily though, maybe not with the beams going around in spiral before it fires but the dust slowly raising in the airs and the flashy thing i could do that.

You could do a small middle beam pointing where it should hit and two other small beams slowly steering in (I'm thinking about something like forming a maybe 45° angle and that one then decreases) combining and going boom :3
Maybe while moving over land hurting a slight bit and throwing dust up.

Good mod. i like how you can add a "charge" to the craft version by putting contact bombs in it. Try Tacnuke corp.'s nuke. Its great in this thing.

That's considerably amazing. I love the 'charge up' before the detonation, really adds to suspense. Now to try disarming the bomb before it detonates...
