Lafe, you have good ideas and the drive to do them. unforunately you lack the finishing touches that make a mod look and feel nice. some advice, take a look at your work in game and see how it compares to everything else. if your not satisfied with how it looks, KEEP WORKING. if you say to yourself "meh, at least it works" then post, its going to be recieved badly.

the best part about this mod is A) I feel like a terminator when people are shooting at me and i hear the dinging of metal hits, and B) using the big machine gun, the offset makes it look like your unit is spitting out the stream of bullets

Oh, just a question.

Fourth. Lafe. From now on, you will use JPG as an extension for your screenshots. Capeshe?

Why use JPG?
And Lafe should add much more stuff so that people will have to look at everything before posting.

And looking at the "Full.bmp" file in the "Soldier" folder of "OC.rte", It looks as if the light source exists somewhere in the lower right corner of the area. That just looks wrong.

And I don't even know if that's just brown armor or wood.
Please make it more distinguishable.

And rather than having your head looking like it's facing extremely right, exposing only 1 eye, make it in the style of other actors, facing kinda towards the screen and forward, showing us the entire face sort of.

And delete remnants of coalition sprites. That will save some space, not alot maybe, but still.

And make your revolver look a little bit thicker to make it look menacing.

Ugh... just ugh... Nice try at shading, still ugly though, sorry 'bout that.

Really constructive, lafe, constructive critisism isn't saying that it's bad, we already know that, it's saying how you could fix it...

It looks like somthing I would make...

Now when you say "good enough"...

do you mean functionally, graphically or both

(and no, I didn't get to see these "god aweful sprites")

New versions looks much better, but it's still not really good.

Also: Saying you think it's alright doesn't make it so. Stop acting like your the king of modders. Besides if your saying that the actors were atrocious why would you release it? This should have gone in mod making instead. I called them bullet sprayers because they have a .2 second reload, and they're poorly codded. I went through and looked at everything, and the ini's reveal that you did almost nothing.

I made them all from a basic outline i made from scratch. i put asmuch work into this mod code-wies as any other modder would, from that aspect its mainly ok, the only poor weapon codewise is the minigun.

Lafe, do you actually try to make your lua code inefficient?
I'm sure I could cut out around 75% of it, and it would work even better.

@lafe:
Your sprites are looking more decent, but they're still not quite decent yet.
What I would suggest you do is take vanilla sprites and cut/paste them together, with a bit of manual spriting here and there. That will give you sprites that are shaded decently quickly, and people will like them more because they fit in better with the rest of the game.
