That would be awsome, Good job on this Cricket. Its pretty dang amazing, could you make it spawn self detonating crab bombers?

Very good idea, make the AI work for you, BUT, I still prefering the crabman of areku,
they're more "realistic" in a sci-fi way...

Very nice job with this. The rally point idea makes the whole spawner thing so much more useful. The idea of free never ending soldiers is kind of odd. Maybe deduct 1 oz of gold for each spawn?
Also they look kinda dorky when their heads are facing the player. Profile sprites?

With Roon's sprites, it's hard to recognize it as a crab. Maybe a lateral view instead of plain side view (I know that's more troublesome to make).

Also, I think that the heads are fine the way they are, it adds to the inherent silliness of a zerg rush of crab headed troopers.

Sometimes my pods don't make units.
Is there a certain distance they have to be from the ground?
Or maybe a maximum that you can have? (Of growth pods)

The crabs should just have a jump like the zombies in zombies '09 and claws methinks, maybe as a "primitive" version which costs less?

Thats not a crab thats a deku scrub :P ... I now MUST HAVE a deku scrub!

Lizard - I personally don't like "jumping." It never works very well because the actor's feet always get stuck in the ground and you could jump in middair. But it's possible to Lua it. Claws and primitive crabs will be taken into consoderation.

CrazyMLC - There is a 5 second cool-down after you make a crab, but there aren't any other limits. I plan to make a signal of some sort to indicate when the pod is ready to pop another crab out.

The Decaying Soldat - How's this?

Roon3 - The gold deduction will most likely implemented and togglable (is that a word?).
