i know. it would be amazing, and it would allow us a lot of freedom in the game, such as making new bunkers mid game to replace our nearly destroyed ones. i wonder if anyone could make a "hollow" actor that could be used as a massive mobile base...

It would probably end in the same way as dropship bases, etc, actors fall through it or bounce around in/off it.
Not to mention you would't be able to dig through it.

Hollow actor would result in actors inside randomly gibbing and/or flying around, yeah.
For a demonstration, attempt to stand on top of a dropship.

it might be a little mega laggy, but if you applied Grif's force field generator technique, you might be able to create invisible, two pixel thick walls, floors, and ceilings for the actors to collide with.

hmmm... i might need a new computer. JUST for that. i can just imagine the odd things i would do. like crushing enemies under the treads of my fort :)

Yeeeaaaah, for that, I w ould reccomend an Intel...... i21. You know, from about 5 years in the future.
