You must have Enhanced Skirmish enabled for this to run.

This doesn't work at all with 2.01. I get:

Also Sneaky could you lock enhanced skirmish on to prevent problems that way?

Yeah, that's the plan. It's a legacy feature now.

Okay, here's your official release:

Cortex Command Mod Manager 2.1
Updates:
  • B24 Support
  • Enhanced skirmish is gone, there is only CCMM Custom Defense now.
  • CCMM no longer mucks around with all of your mod files, disabling activities and stuff. B24 allowed this to happen.

Download

I finally got around to playing a little B24, and it actually runs better on my computer than B23. Imagine that.

I know, right?

Also the true GAScripted format for skirmishes is quite different now, and would require a complete rewrite of that file. There's no real reason to change to it other than good coding practise and true randomness, and I don't know enough about C# to cope with it. Take a look at Base.rte/Scenes/Scripts/SkirmishDefence.lua to see what I mean.

I should have mentioned that 2.1 is not b23 compatible. Maybe I'll make something that checks which version you have and adjusts accordingly, but I'm not sure how likely that is.

Custom Skirmish won't work for me, when I click randomize or add unit it does this:

Code:

It also tells me to delete my mmitems, but I don't have any mmitems other then in mods. I moved the mods mmitems to the recycle bin, but it kept doing that. So unless it can detect mmitems from inside the recycle bin I must have a different problem. Do you even have to get rid of the mods mmitems anyway?

Running B24 on a vista with CC not in program files.

Did I accidentally put in .mmitems? I meant to delete your .modcache file. Typo will be fixed in next version (still have no clue what causes the actual error).

I didnt mean the updated version, the B23 one broke the skirmish AI entirely, CC crashed when it ran skirmish, may not be AI then......

When did CC break? When you started it? When you started a skirmish? During a skirmish? What was the error?

Well that fixed my other problem, and I can click random skirmish without it crashing now, but... On on the window where it says "choose from these other mods" there isn't anything there, and I certainly have other mods for choosing.
