Hey man is this cc1.0 (b28) compatible? Ive been redownloading and reinstalling on my mac a bunch of times, but i allways get base.rte/null error.

Ive tried all four versions of the download links :)

I see that mech and i want it dammit :) Very metal gear ray!

Should be 1.0 compatible.

I'm able to start up CC with this.

Are you sure it's not on your end? Show me the entire error and I may be able to help.

Anything else you need or i can get? I must admit i havent tried it over a vanilla install yet, but i love the mu laak mod and a few others and id rather have em all :) Oh so greedy but i can dream...

Sounds like COOPS haven't been using forward slashes from what I gather.

Been using this mod quite a bit and done several campaigns. I'm loving it, great work honestly. Best faction mod I've seen. However just needs a bit of balancing. All the weapons are fine in power, but the prices should be adjusted.

-The missile launcher that shoots 6 homing missiles should not be 40 gold. I think you meant to put 400 (a more reasonable price) but right now it's easily overpowered.
-The troops are priced about right, just the weapons should be more expensive since their technology is so advanced.
-Oh and a rocket / faster dropship would be awesome. The main dropship is really slow, a variant would be really cool.

Once again great work, just my thoughts.

Problem is, I have been. I think compressing the files is what does this. Ill take a look at these though.

There is, in fact, a single backslash in GLUD.ini. That's the only thing stopping this version working on macs. Just fixed it and it started up fine (not using the lagless version, for the record. Used the filesmelt link).

Line 200, or just do a search for it. It's "Base.rte\null", should be "Base.rte/null". Confirmed as the same as in Eolans post.

I find it annoying that there isn't a version that lets us use all the guns on an actor who isn't S.A.W. classified.

Changed the backslash in glud.ini worked fine for me :) Thanks guys awesome community awesome mod. Only slight suggestion is there's a price issue on that rocket launcher. 45? Same price as a shotgun? Im changing mine to 450...


Great job on the mod man. Just tested it out and it looks awesome! I haven't had a chance to play with that mech yet... :)

FilePath = Base.rte\Null.bmp => FilePath = Base.rte/Null.bmp

And thats all.
For mac/linux compatibility please don't use back slashes in future.

Changing ammo types with the mass driver doesn't really seem to work. I tried both selecting the ammo type from the top and using patrol, some clarification maybe?

I think it only happens on campaign, as it worked fine in a skirmish I will look in the console later.

Er, the brain unit is a bit suicidal.

It always runs at my defenses when attacking a base instead of just kicking back and ordering units at me. Also they can order the mech when they don't actually have the funds for it.
