How did that happen?

I've been busy lately, but now that what I needed to do is over, I can work on other things and update this more. A list on what I'm planning on doing to this mod:
-Attempt to fix any bugs
-Change the growing-direction method to make the vines spread more and appear more vine-like.
-Change the current case-selection system into a menu like Mod Chip in my gravity guns.
-Add new "Growths," like grabbing vines that leech health, a burrowing pod that will dig into the ground, allowing vines to grow to new areas and make containment more difficult.

Oh, and I know why BW is causing problems with this. Will fix later.

Dropped an X seed under and behind him, then distracted him by flying away and shooting. The vines went for his legs, and he died without the torso gibbing, resulting in that neat looking death pose.

A behavior that would look visually cool would be for the vine to pause growth when a victim is detected by a tendril, followed by rapid growth in its direction. Stunning poison gas would also make fighting it more complicated.

Being damageable would be nice too.

Super deadly vines.
Man look likes he is asking God's forgiveness , and at the same time the vines eating his legs like bread.

10050 was right! BW mod screws up the vines. Though now they all stop growing after 60 seconds. I wonder if UniTec has anything to do with it.

This is pretty good stuff. I tried it out with Tiberium seeding its way across the map and nothing really happened. The Tiberium landed a few pieces onto the vines and grew small crystals. Not so exciting, but so it goes.

A fun way to utilize these vines is to use the Reflective Robot Mk.2 and let it target you. Then lead it to where you want it to ravage.

I like it a lot. Only gripe is that it seems to grow in tight spirals, making one big bramble and not a tangled mess everywhere. It's still fun, though.

Cordyc are invincible against the tiberium, so they mix, but creepers kill the cordyc -.-

How do you make them spread faster? As it is, it settles down to 1 vine spreading, and I love playing the "Defense against the infection" style of game, but it's too easy to defend against 1 or 2 vines, unless they spread very fast.

I loved this except....
The X pod says it can grow indefinably. I threw 2 on grasslands and they still stopped. Can you make one that grows and chase-es you across the whole map. I want one that, Yes may cause huge lag, but chase-es you across that map. You have threw 1 a bit ago and in the middle of a fight *boom* the plant snuck up on you will you were focusing on the enemy.

Lolz my computer rapes this mod. WARNING: 253 vines may cause slight lag on my pc. But not really much. And I'm serious. I didn't make those numbers up, either.

On my computer the vines are strong enough to block zero division weapons without losing more than one or two pixels of themselves. HALP.

Ah ha ha ha, I know exactly what's going on.

See, the Creeper Vine's material Index number is set to 5. What I'm guessing is that BW has some super-strong material that just so happens to have the same index number, so the Creeper Vines material pretty much gets swapped with that material. Take out/disable BW and the vines will go back to normal.

I don't know what BW is but after checking i have discovered that it was Xtremeblocks that was interfering with it as that also uses 5. Still it is hilarious having invincible vines kill everything whilst i try in vain to nuke them.

Edit: These are brilliant at taking out door motors maybe give us a 5 second super speed growth version for killing doors?
