Like I said, you're welcome to rate as a medium for giving a review.

You're very welcome to use a rating system to tell the modder how good their mod is, but judges ratings are what really matter now.

Personally, I'd avoid it, as the more words you can fit into a review the better.

Well it does have more of an economy feel than most mods since you can choose to upgrade your weapons with random bits and pieces, I'm gonna add extendable mags on a few weapons and I'm making more content. :)

Post Re: The Red Legion (Economy mod contest)
it's always kind of hilarious and telling when we see manifestations of "Russia" in mods here and in games in general. half-unliving-half-machines whose business is death and, of course, the color red.

I'm not trying to be a ♥♥♥♥ here, i'm sure it's a good mod. it just sort of tickles me just how many vestiges of cold-war ideas still linger in everyone's minds about the big, scary russians (namely that they are so far flung from any real humans).

This post is purely anecdotal, i'm not saying you're racist against slavic peoples. I just think it's funny to point out.

i guess the main thing i'm saying is that I can't wait for the mecha-iraqi-insurgency faction twenty years down the line in Cortex Command III.

I will post ratings soon, I ave yet to play with more guns and stuff and to look through most of the code.
But so far, i like what i'm seeing. It's organized which is a plus, the actor walkpaths are REALLY stable.
And this is a very polished mod. When do we expect to see some sort of craft?

My only nitpick:
- Bayonets cut through things like a saw, and they make super paths through soil, regrettably im not sure you can fix that. So i don't think i'll deduct any rating for it.

I agree with Contrary, why do you have to try to find something wrong with it!

9/10, needs more actors...

It's still one of the most epic factions evar. How do you choose from such an assortment of guns?!?!
Edit: this should replace Vanilla Undead.

You could go the method numgun used with his knife, wherein you emit sharp particles with no velocity that inherit velocity. You make the blade not collide and the particles will do only minor damage without velocity.

Another update.

V-5 Tsar heavy lifter rocket.
V-9 Kremlin assault lander.

I might try that. Although every time I try and make an emitted particle inherit velocity, the game says it can't match the statement.

He could also add a lua script to make a little thrust with actor who posses bayonet devices,
like that head kick-out what made TLB for his wresting mod, I think it would fit perfectly...

Fantastic spriting updates Major, someday I'll have to ask advice to you

Keep up the good work!
