The Void Walker Amalgam is a trio of major factions that inhabit the Boötes Void. The three factions are:
Adar Mordeth. The Adar Mordeth are a race of sentient ooze that have automized their society to such a level that the oozes themselves do not move their whole lives and their armies are made up of hulking brown robots with fierce and brutal weaponry.
The Church of the Androus. The Church of the Androus is a group of fanatical beings that have made it their sole aim to conquer the Universe! No one actually knows what the Androus are, as they deem anyone not of their church unfit to lay eyes on them, much to the weariment of their allies, all their interactions with the rest of the galaxy are performed with robots.
Britannica. The Britannicans are decended from the brittish on earth. They are gung-ho about everything and believe that any time is a good time for a nice cuppa.

The Adar are the brute force of the alliance.
The Androus are the precision and technologicaly advanced part of the alliance.
The Britannicans are the merry part of the alliance.

Wow, where did those Brits come from?

Nice to see some factions making their début.

Crits first:
  • Glows glows glows glows glows OVERKILL ON THE GLOWS
  • The factions all seem to have very similar weapons, which you'd expect from an alliance, but I do think perhaps a couple of basic shared weapons for them (alliance raygun, whatever) would suit them better, with the individual factions having more unique stuff. Perhaps dropships and whatnot could be done in the same fashion, to save you having to make craft for each of them.
  • The Androus sprites could probably use outlining. They don't quite fit in with CC style at the moment, which is a shame.
  • The Sandar Mordeth is awesome, but the walkpaths need to be better. Nay, they deserve to be better!
  • GLOWS OH GOD THE GLOWS
  • I really, really love the concept of such an uneasy feeling alliance. As usual, your descriptions are a pleasure to read, but I wish you didn't have the pre-equipped units. While they're certainly often useful, I can't help but feel that I'd prefer more descriptions. I love your descriptions.
  • Some sort of triumvirate brain sorta thing would be quite cool, and would further bolster the feeling of an alliance. Just an idle thought, but I thought it would be interesting.
  • Uh, I think that is everything. I find the balancing to lean a bit towards overpowered, but after Red Legion, that's a relief. :)
  • ARGH LESS GLOWS GLOWS GLOWS

Also, I want more descriptions! ;_;

I love the spriting!

Although in the first pic, it looks like the guns are actually coming out of their yoohoos.

Love the sprites. I'll be using the steampunk oozes a lot.

The other too seem a bit like other factions I've seen before.

The whitebot-type-things look like a roman legionary bot mod I saw in ages waaay past, possibly pre-20s in build terms.

And the brits seem like the Ronin to an uncomfortable degree.

What's wrong with the poor glows, they didn't do anything to you. :-(

Hmmmm... I might do that actually...

I might make some more content and crafts etc. But I'm already making the next mod. I suppose more stuff would be nice.

Besides being human, how are they similar?

Thanks for all the enthusiasm!

Their armor is identical at first glance.

The triple brain would be cool - Maybe three separate actors in a bunker module? With a Lua script that checks which of them are dead and kills an invisible brain in the middle when all three are dead - although they themselves would not be brains. Like a three-lives rule.

The glow-rape is annoying, but I think you nailed it with the brits - just make the projectiles more glowy and the pixels have no trail or make them invisible.
