So, I originally started this mod long ago, around build 18. I never released it because I kept adding more and more, and then build 19 comes out and the scripts, bodies, and everything else changes, making old mods obsolete. So I figured I just wasted a small chunk of my life, stored the files away, and called it good. Well recently with the new build coming out, Ive found the inspiration to restore the old Red Clone faction. But due to the vast amount of stuff originally in the mod, I decided to release an early version of the Red Clone pack. So far it has 1 actor, 1 drop pod, and 5 weapons.

ACTORS:
Heavy Red Clone:

This heavy soldier is stronger, faster, and more stylish than any other clone on the market. I mean, look at this guy:

Keep in mind, this is still a WIP, and I'll be updating this mod whenever I make nice leaps of progress into the rest of the stuff.

Looks like those guns have had a lot of work done to them. Maybe enough work to give them proper custom names?
You know, make up a brand and slap an abbreviation on there.

Just a thought.

Reminds me a lot of the NOD soldiers from CNC, the soldier's very fun to play with, nice and effective.
I also like the goggle-dome effect, makes him look like some futuristic spec-ops commando. Weaponry's done well, craft comes in nice and fast, all good things like that.

THIS IS WHAT EVERY MOD SHOULD BE.

I like it alot. I think the sniper is a bit overpowered though.
Everything else I love though, but I haven't got the chance to test out the drop pod.

I really like where this mod is going, i hope you keep adding stuff to it.

The only things i would change are:
-Making the eyes smaller, they look like fish eyes.
-Making the sniper's barrel wider, it looks too thin

No bold posts allowed here.

Your sprites are presentable but they are a bit 'Noisy' if anything, as well some shape needs a bit of care. Also your grip looks like it can impale someone.

Sprites are phenomenal. So are the weapons. Only nitpicks:

-Drop pod could come down a little faster.
-Weapons should be able to take more than one or two hits before breaking (just to balance with other weapons)
-The actor really needs to be buffed. If I fly lightly into a wall, he dies. If he falls just a little, he gets a big chunk of his life taken away. Put the life down to 100, and raise everything. That's my opinion anyway.

Fantastic mod. I only have one problem with it though. The pistol's sprite is quite small. The actor's hands cover up almost the entire thing. If you were to make the sprite larger (Or change where the actor holds it) it would be perfect.

Really cool stuff here! I played with your stuff for a little while and i have a few things to say about it. Your weapons have a good feel except the sniper rifle. The rounds are just too slow, it doesn't fit properly, and it should have a longer range if it should be used properly as a sniper rifle, otherwise it's useless because we have the M4. I liked the pistol very much, it felt powerful. The TMP kinda rapes terrain a little bit, I don't mind too much but other people are more picky about that kind of stuff.

The actor itself looks pretty cool, although it's not anything new or interesting. An all black actor with red eyes isn't too original, but I still think it looks cool. You should use the new stand paths, they look much better imo.

I thought the drop pod was the coolest looking thing in this mod. The only problem I had with is that I had to scuttle most of the time to get the actor out and the gibs crushed the actor and killed it most of the time.

In general, pretty decent mod. With a few updates, it can only get better!

That's one thing that troubles me about this mod.

If they barely touch the ground, they end up exploding.
It's something I suggest to fix.

Increase the actor's jointstrength and JointStiffness.
Along with GibImpulseLimit and impulse threshhold.
6000 is moderate for impulse limit and you have it set to 200.
So that's most likely your issue.

Along with the piercing effect of the SMG.
It doesn't need to be that strong.

I'd make the sniper rifle's barrel at least two pixels high. Other than that, looking good. :)
