Aight.
So that Silver Bane dudebroguy is awesome even though its like a wip or something and the sprites look weird
also
The new additions/fixes/tweaks are cool. I notice that the light trooper is somewhat less useless, however not completely.
The mine layer is pretty neat too, but I haven't retested everything yet so I'm unaware of what else is new. Besides new sprites.

I agree, the minelayer is cool, but I feel as though it might be more practical if it launched a low-velocity shell that gibbed into the pinned mine. That way it would be easier to A) lay mines on the ground, and B) lay mines where they won't kill the layer.

I'm having the same problem others were having- namely:

Failed to load datafile object with the following path and name:

Base.ret\Devices\Diggers\DiggerSound.wav

I read that this was not a problem with the mod, but with my install(not sure if this is true).

But I only have had this problem after this install. Can anyone help?

It's because when B25 came out, file have been organized and arranged in different filepaths than B24, so any mods that used vanilla content will have to be revised.

Oh, I thought this was B25 compatible. That explains things.

EDIT: The thread is marked as B25-compatible. Why would I be running into this problem?

Something's wrong with your CC. That file has been in vanilla CC for quite some time, so you should reinstall.

I'm not sure how this could be the case.

Barring the fact that I've re-installed B25 several times in an attempt to fix this, this problem only appears when I'm using this mod. As soon as I remove these folder affiliated with Combined Forces, CC runs fine.

Why thesoupiest, Why have you stopped at B25?

Is there ANY CHANCE of you bringing this back for B26?

Back in B23 it was near always on the front page.
The modders of nowadays need something to look at.
Something Great to compare their own mods to.

I Just hope you could do something that would change these modders, they're work is sloppy.
Half the time i need to post a problem.
Please bring this back!

Ok, you managed to necro a thread and insult every modder on the forums.
Congratulations.

Thesoupiest hasn't been here for... the ♥♥♥♥?

Quite a long time...?

You're talking to a blank wall and insulting everyone behind it.

Ja bro, it's not modding that's got sloppy, it's people trying to learn to mod. Every now and then we get a wave of new modders. He was one of them and created this. I was one of them and created other things. I still create things, he does not.

Indeed non
Soupy is pretty much dead like numgun while he may come back its very unlikely
The most likely way for this to be updated is for someone to take on his work but i cant see that happening

I'm pretty sure all the 'old hand' modders have moved on. DSMK2, TLB, Whitty, numnutsgun, we never see much of anybody old anymore. It's kind of sad, because all we have left are Lua wizards like Mehman who can't sprite and spriters like Kettenkrad who can't mod (Unless you have released a mod, Ket, in which case apologies).

Kettenrad couldn't even mod to save his life.
