 Pre-Equipped Actors V1.21 [now for b26]
Hi,

Some time ago I made a few pre equipped modified coalition actors for my personnal use, I think they are quite good and now want to share them with you, it contains:

From left to right:

Regen Soldier Heavy:
A coalition heavy that regenerates and won't loose his arms in the battle(GetsHitByMos = 0). He also has a very powerful jetpack.
This unit is used as a base for pre equipped actors.

Regen Soldier Heavy (Shielded):
The same with an energy shield.
This unit is used as a base for pre equipped actors.

Coalition Infantry:
A soldier equipped with a pistol, a Compact Assault Rifle and two Grenades. No Shield.

Coalition Grenadier:
A soldier equipped with an auto pistol, a GL and a Light digger for trench digging. No Shield.

Coalition Sniper:
A soldier equipped with an auto pistol, a Sniper Rifle and an Incendiary Grenade. No Shield.

Coalition Anti Tank:
A soldier equipped with an auto pistol, a Rocket Launcher and a Grenade. Shielded.

Coalition Stormtrooper:
A soldier equipped with a Shot Pistol, a Heavy Flamer and a Grenade. Shielded.

Coalition Gunner:
A soldier equipped with a Heavy pistol, a Gatling Gun and a Cluster Grenade. Shielded.

I made Browncoats too:

From left to right:

Regen Browncoat Light:
A browncoat light with a bio regenerator and a light energy shield similar to those used by the Coalition.

Regen Browncoat Heavy:
A browncoat light with a bio regenerator and a heavy energy shield: very powerful but longer to reload.

Browncoat Trooper:
A soldier equipped with a Pistol, an Assault Rifle and two Impact Grenades. Light Shield.

Browncoat Assault Trooper:
A soldier equipped with a Pistol, an SMG and two Impact Grenades. Light Shield.

Browncoat Sniper:
A soldier equipped with a Pistol, a Sniper Rifle and an Impact Grenade. Light Shield.

Browncoat Anti Tank:
A heavy soldier equipped with a pistol, a 20mm AT Rifle and an Impact Grenade. Heavy Shield.

Browncoat Gunner:
A heavy soldier equipped with a Pistol, an MG and an Impact Grenade. Heavy Shield.

The shields can now be easily modified using the folowwing variables:

   self.healtime = 750               --the actor will regenerate 1% of his health every self.healtime ms.
   self.ShieldPower = 2750;          --a higher number will make the shield more powerful, a lower number less powerful
   self.ShieldRegen = 0.35;          --the % of the shield that will be regenerated in 1 tick (60 ticks in a second if you haven't modified your DeltaTime) 0.35 <-> 0.35% / tick  <-> 21% / sec.
   self.ShowRealShieldValue = false; --activating this will show you the real power of the shield instead of a %.

As you wish, Regen Soldier Heavy and Regen Soldier Heavy (Shielded) are the base for all other actors.

Yes they are, but I don't know how to change them, I use the lua function used to mark objectives in a mission and there aren't any other sizes of arrows(not that I know of at least).

You could make an invisible non-colliding HeldDevice at the position [offset slightly upward] and velocity of the actor and set its PresetName to the number you want to display. Smaller arrows, smaller text.

Are the jetpacks vanilla? Because if they are, the heavier troopers will have severe problems flying.
EDIT: Yes, they do have buffed jetpacks. Silly me, commenting before downloading.

Yeah, i was going to say it would be cool if preequipped with repeller guns. Or upgrade jetpacks.

they have upgraded jetpaks, the shields on the lighter units seem to do little to nothing. But i see them saving my life a few times on the heavy people, VERY cool shields, and preequipped actors, now we need robots with revolver cannons....

The jetpacks are vanilla "Extra Heavy", they are not used on vanilla actors but they exist.

They can still stop a few bullets, they are not meant to be very powerful but I'll give them a bit more power.

It's the mag placements and the fact that I didn't spend all that time on em.

But yeah, I'm not spending hours and hours figuring out all the gun designs and refining them,
I just made some sprites for mehman since I thought that the ones he already had weren't all that great.

Don't have to be dissapoint over me being a generous person.

I based them on his guns to not have too much of a difference.
That included a SMG with an AK stock.
