I've been noticing that for explosions you use AddParticles instead of AddGib, if you use AddGib you can add InheritsVel = 0, in that way the explosion won't be directed.

Your sprites have potential, they have outstanding shape, but your shading and outlining, not so much.

The mod is nice though, I shall salute to you if yours ends up like mine.

Your actors kinda remind me of Team Fortress 2. There is a scout, a standard soldier, a heavy soldier, a demolition unit and a marksman. We just need a medic and we are all set =P

There's already a heavy. Just a medic and a pyro and an engineer.

That's not what I meant. I mean from how I started from a small "My first mod" to something thats quite apreciated now.

I remember back, People were releasing small mods that looked like ♥♥♥♥ all effort was put in to them and they were getting scolded for the quality of their mod, telling them that it "sucked" and very very little constructive criticism was mentioned, just straight out ignorance and rudeness. Obviously this was causing plenty of the new modders to not even bother after, due to the negative aura of the community or since it didn't really matter if no one would like it.

Mine However was acted upon differently, people were handing out suggestions and what I needed to make better and how to make it better, I did however get the occasional "It's an AAL Rip Off! It sucks!" but I didn't entirely care since I had so much fun (and still do) with making it. Ever since, I kept on improving it and improving it up until where I am now. 3 years I spent with that mod which makes it one of those rare mods that survived back then.

I'd just like to see another mod that ended up like mine. [/boasting]

The community really has improved since the days where pretty much anything you did got you a good flaming :P

Alright so I'm working on the sprites for the soldiers and weapons. What I have so far is just the standard soldier and the assault rifle done.

Let me know what you guys think (good, bad, change this/change that etc....)

Your sprites need better shading and outlining.

To see what I mean, heres an edit.

Pay attention to how I place colors in relation to how light is hitting it as well as the outlining doing that and is the same shade of color as the inside.

That doesn't change my opinion about the helmets.
