I downloaded your mod and my avast anti-virus said it was a root kit, it blocked it but can someone tell me whats going on? :???:

You should update your Avast, both the virus definition and the software.
If it is still getting warnings about it, delete the file and download it again.

My up-to-date Avast is not reporting any problem with the file downloaded from either location.

The only thing i love about this mod is that coops made this and all the sprites.
but the guns just feel like "...meh" to me :/
the drones and their "protect and follow this guy" is amazing
that should be implemented to the actual game

The normal weapons seem kind of underpowered but the rockets of the foxtrot and the flying drone...they are GOOOD. :twisted:

Mod is running well in 1.05

Just did a really epic/long wave defence run until the Foxtrot homing rocket crashed me out so that bug is still around :(

Also I feel like the Lima rounds are just bouncing off of enemy heads and stuff without doing anything. The Delta is doing less dolphin diving/hole hiding in 1.05 but also not firing under AI command out to a decent range (ie the vanilla actors will shot at long range while the Delta just sits there and stares right at them). It's also still retarded at moving around in regular height tunnels.

Any chance of adding a shield drone version of the Oscar? I'd also love to see some sort of small "command drone" that the Oscars will follow that is idea for bunker tunnel hunts. I love having hordes of oscars flying around.

Really hope you keep working on this :grin:

Unless I am mistaken, this mod has not been updated for quite some time. The missile bug is still there, and the delta still has no real AI given to it. According to the date in the thread title it has not been updated since September.

Just a small update.

Should fix the missile lock-on crash and the Oscars should keep their target when something gibs.

Also tweaked the KN sprite a bit and messed with some offsets on the Delta.

Not sure if this was mentioned already or maybe its just native to my system, but when the Golf gets hit by something other than a missile or round it crashes the game for me. Happened twice now so im sure thats the issue, first time i was going a wee bit too fast into a wall - instacrash. The second time a dropship sploded and a door flew into the Golf and it instacrashed. Maybe it was cuz i was controling the golf, maybe its just any golf, regardless i just felt that should be known. that is all. :grin:


EDIT: Also for a future idea which would be pretty easy to make or w/e how about like a color change from green to w/e other color (red preferably, and maybe a cyan blue) so you can fight Aco vs Aco. That'd be dope.

The Golf drones are buggy as ♥♥♥♥

Under no circumstances should you EVER fly one into a rocket, whilst a napalm is dropped on the drone

And yes, the same thing happens to everyone
