Aarr! The Space Pirate Federation is here to lay claim to yer booty!

A widespread group of pirates that loosely group together in a "Federation". Ragtag and using a wide variety of low tech weapons they are only a force to be reckoned with in large numbers. They sometimes cooperate with the Ronin on joint ventures and are always fighting with their arch nemesis the Redcoat Colonial Militia.

This is a small vanilla balanced mod, with pirates! Vanilla balanced, ie bad jetpacks, weak actors and pew pew guns, so no complaining about it!
Just a little sumthin' I made to stave off the boredom of having my PC in transit still.
Also comes with a Tartarus faction file for fans of that awesome mission and thanks to the amazing Weegee there is a faction file for the Unmapped Lands campaign as well!

Redcoat Colonial Militia

A small group of low tech planets colonised by English-ethnic stock by means of colony ships. The Redcoat Militia relies heavily on obsolete clearence stock from Ultor Aerospace Systems for its arms and armament.

New-Boston Revolutionary Guard

A break-away faction of the Redcoats, the planet New-Boston rejected the faschist monarchy of their former empire and formed a communist society. The Guard utilize guerilla tactics and make use of powerful long range weaponry to defeat their enemies.

Ul-Tex Limited

An explosives manufacturing subsidiary of Ultor Aerospace Systems. Ul-Tex will fulfill all your explosive related wishes, anything from a handgrenade to a concussion bomb. Have a plesant day!
Ul-Tex manufactures three main lines of ADW, or Air Deployed Weapons. Our smallest line are the 10kg small ordnance bombs. Our most popular line is our 25kg range of bombs, Hi-Ex, FRAG and Concussion bombs are the specialty. And for the customers with serious irritations to be rid of we have the 50kg bomb, so far we only stock FRAG and Cluster warheads for the 50kg line.

If you lack a decent bomber, fear not for we will drop your munitions with pinpoint accuracy at the desired location via a HALO drop from one of our bombers for a small fee.

Amazing Spriting there! Was that what yer worked on, because i saw yer didnt work on yer other Mod (Pack). The only thing i have to complain about is, that some Guns are weak.

Ok I'll decrease the particle count on the rifle rounds and decrease the lifetime on the shrapnel as well. Any other guns specifically? These guys use exactly the same wounds 'n' stuff as the Ronin and are much easier to get headshots on, so I don't see why they should feel tougher, and by not armoured well what do ya mean? They're armoured pretty similar to the Coalition. Cheers for da feedback. Damn Foa, completely outta tha blue! That would be a long and hard task and I'm not sure I feel like that right now. :S

The guy uploaded it somewhere to a successor... I think you can find several downloads in the original thread, and maybe one or two in the newer one. Anyways, if you can gather a few nice downloads, you could reasonably remove most of the effort by converting files. The pirates, all I can say is that they blend easily, and snipers, quite honestly, a high drop, moderate range, and head explosions seems pretty apropos for a cheap weapon of power.
