Well, the problem with me and colours is that i like vibrant colours, while the general consensus is that less glaring colours are better. I agree though, i do need to work on proper colour selection, since i've recently gotten into a bad streak of "burn yer eyes out ♥♥♥♥♥es" with really bright colours. Maybe somewhere in between neon and gloomy will work nicely. :U

I think the legs are probably too thin or short, or both. I use the Loomis style of figure constructing which is basically a very thin and simplified body and then I just fail to add natural thickness.
A couple more small things

I though the 2nd one was a real picture at first!
