Quick, hacky fix to your Vista Admin woes.
go to control panel, then Security Center (if you dont see this then go to firewall then at the lower lefthand corner Security Center) and go to Other Security Settings. Turn User Account Control to off.

now nothing needs to be run as admin. also now you can extract things from zip and rar to anywhere in your computer without having to tell it to allow and stuff.
