Her smile will forever haunt my nightmares. Her words will annoy me for a few minutes.
I again can't take this church seriously when all of their arguments are just ridiculously childish. I've seen more mature arguments from eight year olds.

I don't know what to think. That little church of theirs is just so ridiculous with all the stupid statements.
And the hacking of the website.
Anon wins.
Also, I got all the other references Ben posted but I missed the 'row row fight the power' -one.

One of Gurren Lagann's opening songs was something with a line 'Raw! Raw! Fight the power!'. It was incredibly cheesy and sounded like 'Row! Row! Fight tha powar!', so it became a meme.

Later, moot made /b/ have the background music that line.
And all text in posts was replaced by "Row! Row! Fight tha powar!"

I don't know what it is about it, but that shit-licking smile just pisses me off.

Damn Anon is now ♥♥♥♥ with Playstation Network because HEAVEN FORBID Sony doesn't want people pirating their software! Honestly, I'm getting sick of them just going around saying "free flow of information hurr durr" and then acting like they have the moral high ground. BLURGLEBURGLE I just wanted to play Castle Crashers with my friend.

If you're talking about the row with Geohot, I would invite you to consider what he did versus what they did.

He found a way to run whatever software he liked on his piece of hardware (which he bought), and told other people how to do the same.
They sued him for everything he owns, then got a judge to grant them access to most everything relating to his life (paypal account, twitter account, website logs, youtube logs on his videos, I believe more as well).

As far as anonymous is concerned, they are staging a protest in whatever fashion they can. If you disagree with them that's fine but don't dismiss it as a bunch of pirates wanting to pirate games.

Alright, I can see where they're coming from. Can't they think of a better way of protest, though, than interfering with the millions of people who use the service (PSN) frequently?

You hit companies where it hurts, in the service that makes them money.

...Except the PSN is free.

I think Anon is doing a wonderful thing here.
And I'm not even a Playstation fan.

...Except that sporadically taking down the Playstation Network (and their efforts in general) will probably have very little effect on their cash flow. I'm guessing they MIGHT just see Sony easing up on George just for the purpose of saving face. If even that.

And sorry, I just hate Anonymous in general - I'm really pretty biased. Like back with the whole 'attack PayPal because they choose not to forward donations' bit, which just seemed dreadfully hypocritical.

Whitty, not being a Playstation fan just means you'd be LESS likely to not like it. If you don't use the service (which I do, quite a lot), then why should you give a rat's ass if someone's ♥♥♥♥ with it?

Seriously though, this isn't gonna change anything by May it'll be forgotten, but for now, it's pretty annoying.

They picked on the things about paypal still forwarding donations for things like the KKK and double standards more than their actual nonsupport.

PSN is free, yes, but interrupting a service that gamers expect causes them to get angry (like Ocia here), and angry customers are usually not repeat customers.
Plus it's a hell of a way to get publicity. I wouldn't have known Anon was doing this if Ocia hadn't said something.

I don't really see how that's gonna negatively impact SONY, just Anonymous. They stopped targeting Playstation Network, though, which is nice. Now I can play Fat Princess with my friend.
