Now don't get me wrong, boo to the states but I wouldn't really say we've got particularly functional healthcare and we're no better than the US at solving military disputes (but probably with more bureaucracy if anything). Past Canada != current Canada, we're not quite so well put together as you may hope.

Your healthcare is comparably cheaper, with less expenses due to red tape, and has less pressure to be for profit.
As far as military goes: Canadian Infantry is considered the best.

But politics are a weak point for everyone.

why would canadian infantry be the best
america is the leading country in military spending by a ridiculous margin
im not really doubting the possibility but i want to know how in the world that works considering how much USA has in its favor military wise

The money doesn't necessarily go towards the infantry. It's the planes, boats, and everything else. Just look at the Air Force.
The US has since been removing exercises from infantry boot camps, for humanitarian reasons, so they come off less experienced for warfare.

As far as Canadian Military goes, they've had considerably less problems, and better results in the modern era compared to supposedly the best military nations.

Fairly sure the best infantry in the World are the SAS.
Which SAS is the best is up for debate.

Whose healthcare? I'm in Canada, hence the bitching about it haha. There's plenty of bureaucracy and red tape though, since the government is involved and that makes everything nice and slow. And that's true, politics are a weak point for everyone, Canada included.

I know a fair few people in the army and stuff, but I don't actually know (or really care) how Canada's infantry stacks up against the rest of the world or whatever, so I won't try to dispute that.
I do know that the rest of the military is pretty ♥♥♥♥. Like the navy's burning subs, or the highly expensive and apparently too dangerous f35s we were aiming at. I think there may have been another plane fiasco, but it might just be the f35 one, I don't honestly remember. And I know both of these happened a few years back, but that's pretty much the track record here and I wouldn't be surprised if the next set of military equipment the government pays stupid amounts of money for fails in some way too.
Not that not putting all our money and effort into military is a bad thing, rather the opposite. I'd much rather this than the trillions or quadrillions of dollars the US spends on it.
