Oh man, this forum brings back memories. I find it kind of amusing that the people that still seem to visit once in a while are the same people that were around in the heydays of the forum/game. |

I miss you guys. There's something about this game and community that captured an unfinished dream for me. Open source kindles the flame for me, but maybe my expectations were too high and it's just too hard to let this memory of my teenage years die. The community had a real heart and dedication to it, and a great place to make some friends when that was challenging in real life. It's hard to see that spirit so weak now. It's like walking through a graveyard, or remembering someone's face but you can't make out the sound of their voice. Since CC, I've learned to code (Python, R) and still have a dream to learn C++ and make games. It's just a hard dream to follow. I'll probably become a biologist, which isn't a bad dream either. I miss these forums, I appreciate whoever still logs on to see this message, you were part of my childhood
