Well guys I joined the forums just before everything went active again (you know, data making new releases), but I would like to know what state the forums were in before I was here, like who was this weasel guy? And a bunch of stuff was down to, so I'm just wondering, what kind of hell went on in this forum while Data temporarily abandoned CC? |

Data's never been active, being absent was the normal order of things. He pops up every 6 months or so with a new release and then things are active for another month or two before dying down again. |

Data hired him as sort of a PR guy, I guess you could kind of say. There were some plans where he'd connect Data to the community, and make the forums nicer, and this and that, but most of it either wasn't done or didn't work. |

I liked weasel too. He just had a tough job to do, seeing as the trolls ruled the forum back then. |

Hm, it seems this topic gave me more than I expected, I would like to hear more now. Too bad none of the members that joined in 2004 are still active besides data, who is rarely active, that would probably be an interesting story to hear, the growth of DRLFF. Sounds like an award winning book to me. |

The story is, the forums have always been less cool than IRC. the irc, that I am speaking of, is of course currently at irc.rizon.net #drlchat and I am the coolest, greetz. |

We all had reason for it too. Kinda wish Miles the Rat and Grif stuck around more often. I always enjoyed reading what they had to say. I also miss Lord Tim. |
