It's #lonelyden on Rizon

I do it the link way because there's people who have no idea how to use irc and I already have it explained there.

WHAT DO I LIKE? WHAT DO I HATE? WHAT AN EXCELLENT QUESTION.

i really passionately like:
- vidya gaems
- arting
- writing fiction
- candyyyyyyyyy (i have more than just one sweet tooth, i have a sweet jaw and sweet skull)
- hanging/geeking out with friends
- modding/programming/game designing
- being a goofball
- my lovely friends and family <3
- dinosaurs
- owls
- spheroid ceramic owls

i just regularly like:
- the vast majority of people on this forum (the lack of face to face contact makes it difficult to get up to "really passionately like", y'all are still fine people <3)
- SCIENCE
- geology
- waddling up mountains
- waddling around in nature
- waddling
- constructive criticism

i have very mixed feelings about:
- the internet
- memes

i moderately dislike:
- exercising
- caring about how i look
- cleaning up (i am a lazy man and i don't care about things looking messy)
- frustrating problems that take hours to solve when they should take minutes

i intensely hate:
- aggressive ♥♥♥holes
- dickwads
- shitgobblers
- clods
- hostile idiots
- people who think edgy = cool
- people who act like ♥♥♥holes for no reason whatsoever
- disrespectful people
- rude and impatient people
- hell let's just say intolerable humans
- stomach woes (which i have had a LOT of)
- homework (one could wonder how i've still managed to end up in university)
- non-constructive/destructive criticism

so yeah wow

What the hell is edgy? Sounds pretentious, but with less letters.

Basically a term i like to use for the people who try way too hard to be cool and make cutting remarks at every given time, and usually just end up making themselves look like turds in the process.

That's the informal definition of Edgy, and that pretty much links up with the definition of pretentious.

Well then, add pretentious pinheads to the list of intensely hated things. :U

you guys have been using edgy wrong this whole time? Wow

Its meaning is closer to "controversial for the sake of being controversial", or "cutting edge"

Post subject:  Re: Who or What do you love/hate

The formal definition is "Nervous; Irritable".

Post subject:  Re: Who or What do you love/hate

The formal definition of spook is "apparition, ghost"
And gay = happy. Word meanings change.

Post subject:  Re: Who or What do you love/hate

Both of those words are slang, the meanings haven't actually changed.

Author:  Sothe [ Mon Nov 11, 2013 3:35 am ]
Post subject:  Re: Who or What do you love/hate

Incorrect.
Both are completely dictionary-recognized words, as is edgy. Their meanings have been adapted to "slang" definitions, but are still actual words. Connotation is just as powerful as denotation.
