1. Figure out how the hell you occupied a 500GB hard drive entirely.

2. Use the free space on the 1.5TB hard drive anyways as due to the way computers themselves work it is logically impossible that you could harm anything by doing so anyways.

Well the spinning of the 1.5TB drive could cause the drive head to scratch the platter and completely destroy your HDD.

Is it recommended to pay for pre-assembling a computer if it's your first time to buying one in parts, and you don't know that much about parts in general?

Gotta start somewhere.
Just read a guide or two online, and if you have one keep a friend who knows what they're doing nearby.
Also take every anti-static precaution known to man.

The motherboard handbook will tell you where everything goes, and as Torrent said, read a few guides online or look up some videos.

EDIT: Oh, and, it may help beforehand to take a look inside some other computers first. Play around with the components and see how everything fits.

So, uh, I'd just like to mention that my new computer is now set up.

Now I can actually run Dummy Assault.

I'm not sure... I DID lose all of my spritework and unreleased code with my last computer... :-(

I might try to revive my old hard drive at some point, but for now, I'll call it off.
