| Post subject: | Halo3 & Half-life2, wich one you like more? |
So i wanted to make topic about those two games, both are kind of old but Half-life2 got just new episode and Halo3 is popular as hell Anyway, i just got orange box and i been playing alot Teamfortress and like ninehours of Half-life2. And Halo3 i was playing few weeks ago. Both are good as hell, but in my opinion, half-life2 is better. It haves kind of better graphics and better story than Halo3. SO DISCUSS! Oh and last If you live in europe, tomorrow starts xtival weekend, it means xbox live is free on weekend, and there is some downloable crap for waiting in market place This topic is kind of useless, but remember, don´t flame, spam etc. |

Woah, seriously? I'm not really sure. I love going against the main opinion, but Halo 3 is too good for me to dislike D: But Half Life Two is also awesome >_> I'm staying on the fence here. |

Since HL2 DM is a bit of a disappointment... They're equal, out of the box. HL2 has a wonderful campaign and the physics are godly. It even looks good for a game a few years old. But Halo 3 has some really easily accessible multiplayer that can be really fun. But then mods come into the mix, and the fagshriekers on XBL... I think HL2 is better once you get in-depth. But then again, I am and always will be a devoted, but lame, PC gamer. |

in my opinion halo 3 is better than half-life 2. half-life 2 manages to make everthing too cinematic and it just makes it boring. halo 3 on the other hand, while not being as good as hyped, such as tose ads with the models in and stuff, it was really fast paced and it was fun, exept from the flood ship mission. half-life2 has a worse storyline aswell, although it is told alot better than in halo 3. end of the day, call of duty 4 wins

I'd rather have a fine quality piece of work than just "lolurun&shoot". Then it makes me feel like "Wait, if I wanted to play Galaga I could just go play Galaga!". |

ahh i kinda explained it wrong. erm well i mean like its too much like reallife cinematic type gameplay, and it just bores me sometimes because the whole point i play games is for something else. i mean half-life2 is made alot better, but i guess it just depends what style of player you are, and im usually into more fast paced stuff. im not sure though because mass effect looks awesome and thats like watching a slug move. |

Whuh? How? And, where do you get moddability on an X-Box? Something like cortex command could never be truly successful on a console, because it's soul is in it's mods. |
