This is the normal deal which will get you all updates of Cortex Command up to and including the full campaign if and when it is completed. This option is discounted from the full final price because the whole campaign and content are currently NOT in the game yet.

What exactly is the cutoff of my investment? For instance will this cover me till the final final version?

And also "if" Also full final price seems to suggest it will go up later. Will I have to pay than?

This isn't really on topic, but this topic doesn't have a purpose any more anyway.
I think it might be a good idea to change your avatar. As much as I support baby eating, I don't think it's entirely appropriate.

On Topic: No, you wont have to pay for the updates. It's cheaper to purchase as early as possible, as later builds come out the discount on the game will lessen.

Here's the whole story:

If you buy a Cortex Command key, no matter at what point, this key will work for EVERY upgrade up until the final version of Cortex Command. Therefore, the earlier you buy it, the cheaper you get the entire game. The current price is as cheap as the game will ever get, short of it becoming abandonware sometime in the far distant future.

And, no, you never have to pay again.

Once you buy one key, you have paid for the entire game, up until the final version. Your key does NOT cover potential expansion packs, or the second installment of the game. However, the primary Cortex Command game is entirely covered by your ONE purchase.

I still don't understand how Data will convince anyone to buy it, if it ever rises above 20 dollars.
Don't get me wrong, it's a great game, but nobody will spend more than that on it.
I dunno.

Yeah... I was thinking it's too expansive comparing to the progress... Maybe he could lower the price or rush with the progress...

The reason I was so dubious is because it is 20 dollars already, That's damn steep considering that garry's mod is only 10.

Garry's mod was not intented as a commercial venture. Garry started charging money because Valve required that he do so.

Cortex Command was always going to be commercial. Data made no bones about it; it was going to happen. While I also feel that the price is somewhat high, consider it an investment. If you pay now, you get it at a good discount versus buying it later.

And, Datarealms thanks you for your purchase.

Garry's mod is a mod, cortex command is a project with 7 years of development behind it (or so i'm told)

that alone justifies the price as a bargain.
