hi well im new i got the game loved it went on the forums and downloaded a mod i did it like it said and this thing called WinRAR: Diagnostic messages came up

Could you be more specific on the error?

Maybe the download is corrupt, have you tried downloading it again?

Download the .rar file, don't try to open it. Install Cortex Command to a directory OTHER than program files, ie My documents, the desktop, or something else. Download the .rar directly to that folder, then extract the file.

So does that mean it's a problem with the temporary files actually being created? Never heard of that happening before.

It's Vista, it seems like he's not allowed to open the file after downloading it.
